Hi jahbool,
This error is caused by the Ajax Filters plugin, which is the only plugin that still does not support MySQL. Simply don't install the Ajax Filters plugin and everything should work fine with the theme on MySQL.
p.s: We are currently working to add MySQL support to the Ajax Filters so hopefully we will have them ready soon.

We're running 4.2 out of the box. Uploading the zip file has no effect. It seems successful, but afterwards there are no files on the server that start with sevenspikes. Maanually copying the two folders to the plugins folder where I see all the other plugins does not make the plugin show up in the admin section after clicking the reloading button.

I guess you are using a different version of the plugins than the nopCommerce one.
Make sure it is the 4.20 version of the plugins.

I want the list to pull "Recently Added Products" without have to update the plugin manually each time a new product is added and I don't want the food stand items appearing in the list when a new food item is added. The plugin needs to remain automated to limit changes. I am working on an ecommerce site for a store with less than 5 employees and they don't have time to make changes to every plugin for manual changes. Having a bit more control of the data source to allow custom data that the default options don't provide would be ideal.
I submitted a ticket for a change. So hopefully my request will be taken seriously.

I could not find any answer for this, so I dont think it is possible to use the specs- or product attributes as part of the meta title/description. Are you planning to create a feature like this?

I agree that it would be a great feature to have but it would only work in some cases.
I think that this could work if all the products in the store has the same set of attributes/specification but only with different values i.e Color but I am not sure what will happen if every product has different specifications/attributes i.e a shirt that has a specification called Material and a phone that has one called Screen Size etc.
We will need to target them differently I guess.
Any thoughts?
I have a store situation I am trying to configure using the Emporium theme. The store sells Amish made furniture and home goods, but also has a food stand and sells Ice cream, hot dogs, hot sausages, drinks and other miscellaneous food items. I decided to create a category for the food stand products named "Food Stand" and assigned the category to the food stand products.
The food stand products are now showing up in the "New Offers" JCarousel display as "Recently Added Products", but I don't want the food stand items to appear in the "New Offers" JCarousel. Is there away to exclude a product category when selecting "Recently Added Products" as the data source?

Hi hjksunderlin,
There is no way to exclude certain products from the Recently added as it simply checks if the product is added recently as the name suggest.
If you want a custom list of products then you can simply manually add the required products and call them "Recently added" without adding any of the products you would like to exclude.

We plan to release all our products for nopCommerce 4.30 no later than early next week so that everyone could upgrade to nopCommerce 4.30 as everyone on previous version of nopCommerce will upgrade to SQL Server anyway.
We plan to add official MySQL support to all our products after that and I guess we will need a couple of weeks to do so.

I have purchased the nopCommerce Removal Key and put in in place. But, I cannot seem to get rid of the nopCommerce logo on search engine results or on the search engine tabs when my website is up.
We use our logo in the theme, and it works, just can't get rid of the nopCommerce logo on search results or the top tabs?

Hi Ladd,
I guess you are referring to the Favicon that appears when you open the site in the browser next to the page title.
You can change it from Settings -> General Settings, under the "Favicon and app icons" panel.

Hi,
We are still upgrading all our products for nopCommerce 4.30 so we can't provide a beta version of our products as there are still some bugs that need to be fixed in nopCommerce 4.30 in order for all the plugins to work properly.
We plan to release all our products no later than a week after the official nopCommerce 4.30 release.
