Will Nop Attachments be styled for Alfresco?
Hello,
I was wondering if you can provide guidance on optimal size, resolution, and file format type on the pictures used for:
- Anywhere Sliders used as the banner under the logo on the home page.
- Category Images
- Product Images
Thank you for your help.
Shawn
Hello,
I have installed Alfresco, and have a problem when viewing the site on my cell phone. I'm not sure if it is a bug, or if I did something wrong.
On the home page of the mobile browser, my logo doesn't fit the screen. It is too large and is stretched to the right of the page. On all other pages, including the home screen when the store is closed the logo is smaller and fits fine, just not on the homepage when I'm logged in (the store is still closed, but viewing site via admin).
Thanks,
Shawn
Hello,
I'm still planning on hooking up with Alfresco once I get more products in the database.
I'm not sure why, but when I check out the Alfesco demo on my work computer using internet explorer 9 there are a few issues. I'm at a liss as to why that is as from my testing on various computers the theme looks great.
The problems on my work computer are on the home page there is no box under the main menu items making them hard to see. The other bigger issue is when you click on a category the formatting gets all messed up.
I have screen shots if you tell me where to send them.
thanks,
Shawn
Thank you very much for the answers. Also, thank you for the information regarding the licensing, it was not something that I had thought about.
I'm sorry for being such a pain, I'm sure you are getting tired of me asking so many questions.
Can you please comment on my thinking?
I really like Alfresco. The problem is, is that it would take some work/time to get it up/running/and looking as nice as your demo. Therefore my initial thought was, leave Alfresco behind, buy the "Ultimate Plugin Collection" (as most of your plug-ins are a must), and get the website up quickly using the default clean theme. Then I realized, that "Alfresco" basically comes with the "Ultimate Plugin Collection" for only $100 more (multi-store license) then buying the collection by itself. Therefore (and here is what I want you to comment on), for only $100 more, it makes sense to buy Alfresco just to get the plugins to get the store up and running ASAP, and then when time allows, implement Alfresco then?
My additional questions are:
1. Are the plugins that come with Alfresco styled for the default clean theme in addition to Alfresco?
2. The Alfresco demo logo is a little smaller then what we would like to use. What is the maximum logo size that can be used with Alfresco?
3. (Sorry, this one is not related to the theme, but more a general Nop question). In my old shopping cart, I had to upload a thumbnail image, a main image, and an X-Large image. I believe with NopCommerce I would just upload a single image, and then NopCommerce resizes for the different uses. What is your recommended product picture size that should be used in NopCommerce?
Thanks guys, again my apology for all the questions.
For multi-store is it easy to tailor Nop Alfesco for each of the different stores (assuming multi-store license is purchased)? For example background picture, logo, top rotating banners, etc?
Hello, one more bug, this one related to Desktop.
I'm not sure if it is a bug, or related to the browswer I'm using. I'm using Internet Explorer 8.
When mousing over the menu at the top (Products, Manufacturers, etc), the images are not showing, just broken images.
Also, when you select a product the "Quick Tabs" are not shown (maybe they are not enabled on the demo), just links to Overview, Specification and Review. When you click on one it takes you to the bottom of the page.
And, one more, it doesn' appear Nop Cloud Zoom is enabled.
Thanks,
Shawn
Nice job guys. Alfresco is very nice, which I plan on purchasing in a few days.
One minor bug I discovered in the mobile theme is that if you click a picture it expands (which is good) but then it is hard to make it small enough to close the expanded picture. Once you manage to close it, then the page remains the size of the large picture, shrinking the theme and pushing it to the left. It does seam to correct itself if you then click a link to another part of the page.
I was using IE on my Lumia 920.
Thanks
