Hello Nop-Templates,

I'm getting ready to upgrade Nop from 3.7 to 3.8, and my Nop-Traction theme from 3.7 to 3.8. I have downloaded the Nop Traction theme. Inside there is a "Theme upgrade.txt" and a "7Spikes_upgrade.sql".

On the top of the "7Spikes_upgrade.sql" file it states "-- 7Spikes upgrade scripts from nopCommerce 3.70 to 3.80". Does this have to be executed if upgrading the theme from 3.7 to 3.8? The reason I'm asking is because the "Theme upgrade.txt" doesn't mention this step.

I was checking to be sure it wasn't caused by something that I did.

If your fix is easy, I would like to hear about it. Otherwise we will have to get busy and modify the aspect ratio on the distorted images.

The distortion only happens to images that are in a portrait aspect ratio. Square and landscape work fine.

Using Nop Traction Theme, do product images shown in categories need to be either square or have an aspect ratio that is larger horizontally than vertically?

The reason I’m asking is because our images of products when viewed in their category are distorted if the image is taller than it is wide.

I hadn’t noticed this distortion in the past, so I wasn’t sure if I had just missed it, or if I inadvertently changed something. I have recently changed to using Blob storage in Azure, so not sure if it is related, or if images always had to have a landscape ratio.

Based on Google speed test it appears that the full size HomePageSlider is being used on mobile devices and is only being resized. Is it possible for the sliders to use scaled down picture sizes for mobile devices?

Here is what it says on the speed test.

The 0008177.jpg is one of the homepage slider images.

Hello, are there any plans to upgrade Alfresco Theme with some of the great features available in some of the other themes such as Nop Traction? In particular I'm talking about for small screens such as mobile phones. It would be great to have the static bar at the top like the Traction Theme, containing the cart info, categories, and most important the filters for mobile sized screens. Plus the "go to top of page" button that appears when you scroll down.

First off, I'm not sure if this issue is related to the Alfresco Theme or to NopCommerce in general.

None of the Topics (About Us, Privacy Notice, Shipping & Returns, Conditions of Use and HomePageText as well as others) pages work on different multistores that are not the original store 1 in NopCommerce Version 3.30.

I will use "About Us" as an example, but I believe it is the same issue with all the topics pages including "HomePageText".

On the original store, the "About Us" works fine. The settings are:

System name: AboutUs
URL: Http://www.website.com/aboutus
Title: About Us
Body: The about us content
Search engine friendly page name: aboutus
Limited to stores: Checked
Stores: website 1: Checked
Stores: website 2: Unchecked
Stores: website 3: Unchecked

But on any subsequent store, when you try to create another "AboutUs" it shows the "URL" to be something like Http://www.website.com/aboutus-1 even though "limited to stores" and "website 2" are the only one checked in the stores tab.

As a result, the "About Us" link at the bottom of the page of Store 2 doesn't work, as "About Us" doesn't exist for the subsequent store instead "Http://www.website.com/aboutus-1"

I hope this makes, sense, it is kind of hard to explain. And like I said, I don't know if this is an issue with the theme, or with NopCommerce in general.

Thank you for the quick reply Boyko.

The version of NOP that I'm using is 3.2, but I haven't updated the Alfresco Theme files for awhile. I will get these updated over the weekend, and try again. If I'm still having trouble I will let you know.

I should have tried that approach first.

Hello, on my second multistore, I'm trying to have different Home Page Main Sliders from my first store. However, I can't seam to figure out how to do this. Regardless of what I have checked on "Stores", "Limited to Stores" the same banners show up on all the stores.

For example, on my first website, www.ParacordCanada.ca (which has been working great - Thank you Nop Templates) I have checked "Limited to Stores", and "canadaparacord.ca" however the banners are showing up in my second store.

When I create a second Home Page Main Slider, and check "Limited to Stores" and "KnifeStoreCanada.ca" for this second home page slider then those banners show up on all the stores.
