I have been asked if we could add a block of text under the slider and featured categories on the home page? It would be 3-4 lines long.

The other option we are looking for is to have one of the boxes that displays the featured categories be a custom image. The reasoning for this is that our ultimate goal is to have two stores set up (one CDN and one USD) and some of our products are not available to the US. Instead of dropping the featured categories to two on the homepage, we want to know if it is possible to have a custom image put in there in our US store.

I am not a programmer, so if we need to pay to have this done, please let me know what the approximate cost would be.

Hello,

At this moment we are pretty busy and we do not have the time to make any customization.
Sorry, but I am sure you will made your way through !

Thanks for your reply. It is good that you are so busy.

As for making my way through, as I said, I am not a programmer and .ASP is completely over my head. I guess I can just look for a programmer that has worked with your templates before.

Is there an option to have custom text on the ribbons? I thought it was as simple as adding words to the 'text' box when setting up the ribbons, but the text I entered (I just entered 'test') doesn't show up.

Do I need to use CSS to have the text show?

Hi,

This has been fixed in the latest version of the theme.
But you do not need to update your installation, just add this resource to your nopCommerce.
Its value should be Featured Categories.
On how to edit resources in nopCommerce please watch this video:

Thank you! This worked

Thanks! I followed the steps and tried to delete the skype resource name, as we don't use skype...

and now it is doing the same thing as what my category header is doing... it now has this string of text:

sevenspikes.themes.motion.common.skype

For now, what I did was change the css file to have the skype li element be "display:none;", but is there an option from the administrative panel to remove those options.

Thanks! I managed to figure it out without the demo content. It is actually pretty easy to figure out.

Yes, the key was to shorten the height of the image. I kept resizing the image, but the aspect ratio would remain the same, which still made the picture 100% of the container.

I have been looking everywhere where I can change the Contact info in the bottom section above the footer.

Here's my site: http://raceenergy1.azurewebsites.net/

I want to change the info that is currently +444 (Phone) 1234, etc.

Thanks!

When hovering over the product on the actual product page, the zoom window is over the product info

The CloudZoom plug-in has settings that allow you to change the place where the zoom window appears. It can be right, left, top, bottom or inner.

Thanks! I don't really like how the zoom is the same size as the product image. I will try to find a solution in your cloudzoom documentation
