Hi,

The home page loading time is big.

Is there any way that downloaded parts of the page be displayed to the user rather than waiting until all page elements are downloaded?

Thanks

Hi hayco83,

What do you mean by the "loading time is big"? Is it the server response time that is big or something else?
Please note that the theme is optimized for maximum performance and the html and the css are loaded first and then the javascript. So the theme is optimized and the content is shown even though some scripts are not loaded yet. The theme is also mobile first, so on mobile devices some of the css and respectfully images are not even loaded.
If the server response time is slow then you might find this blog post useful.

Thanks

Page loading takes around 3 seconds and nothing is displayed to the visitor until the full page is loaded and it's displayed at once.

I'm asking if there's a way to display images as soon as they're downloaded.

Hi hayco83,

What is the server response time aka "time to first byte"?
In other words - what is the time it takes to get the html of the page?

What is your web site? Please provide a link, so that we can take a look.

Thanks

Hi hayco83,

Your web site loads quite fast actually.
Maybe the first time someone opens the web site wouldn't be that fast as all the styles and javascript need to be downloaded but after that it is fast.

Thanks

Hi,

I'm using NOP Playground 3.3 with no other 3rd party plugins or code.

I'm on a shared hosting plan.

I'm having app pool restarted several times and then stopped.

My hosting company, Arvixe is telling me this is due to either the code or my website is hitting the memory limit (600MB)

Do you have any calculation of memory consumption of the Playground theme and if the 600MB limit is really not sufficient to run it.

Also is there any way that I can know for sure what the real reason behind this app pool restart?

Thanks
