Manage Categories Problem In 3.6

If a user creates a blog post and sets the start date to a future date.... then adds that same blog post to a category under manage categories... the Body overview portion of the post will be published on the site under the category, but when you click on the link to the post it redirects back to the home page.  I would prefer for the Body overview not to be listed under the blog category.

Is there any chance this has been corrected in 3.7?

I would like to create all my blogs and then schedule their publish date.
