Before you can use the Nop Velmora Theme you need to install it.

VELMORA THEME - GENERAL SETTINGS

The Nop Velmora Theme has different configuration options which you can manage from the administration. This is the Theme settings section. It can be accessed by Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Themes -> Velmora -> Settings. Here is a list of General Settings of the theme:

Admin Configuration: Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Themes -> Velmora -> Settings

Front-end Result: These settings control the visual style and behavior of the Velmora theme across the store, including colors, layout options, slider type, fonts, logo, social links, newsletter background, and custom styles.

1. Preset - Choose a color preset among the 5 predefined color options within the theme. You also have the option of choosing your own color combination by choosing the last option with custom color picker controls.
2. Item Box Type - Choose the type of your item box. You can choose between 2 types of item box - Standard and On Hover.
3. Category Page product items per row - Choose the default number of products per row on the category details page in desktop resolutions.
4. Font Family - Choose the theme's font family.
5. Slider Type - Choose the store's slider type.
6. Newsletter Background - Choose the newsletter background pattern that will appear on the home page.
7. Show sub-categories in category item box - Choose whether subcategories will be shown in the category item box.
8. Follow us Pinterest URL - You can insert your Follow us on Pinterest URL here. If left empty the icon in the footer will not be displayed.
9. Follow us Vimeo URL - You can insert your Follow us on Vimeo URL here. If left empty the icon in the footer will not be displayed.
10. Follow us on Instagram URL - You can insert your Follow us on Instagram URL here. If left empty the icon in the footer will not be displayed.
11. Remove Copyright - You can remove the copyright notice after a copyright notice key has been purchased from www.nopcommerce.com.
12. Remove Designed By Nop-Templates.com link in the footer - You can remove the Designed By Nop-Templates.com link from the footer. Note: If you would like to receive a 10% discount on any future purchase or renewal and a feature spot on our site, please leave this unchecked and contact us.
13. Logo image - You can choose the logo image from here.
14. Custom Head Styles - Insert your custom CSS styles that will be added in the head after all other CSS files. This way you can further customize the theme. Example: .footer { display: none; }

CONFIGURE YOUR HOMEPAGE

The Nop Velmora Theme is a healthcare and medical-focused nopCommerce theme designed for medical equipment stores, pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, wellness businesses, healthcare suppliers, and healthcare service providers.

Velmora comes with a single professionally designed healthcare layout that combines clean design, excellent usability, and powerful Nop-Templates functionality. The homepage can be customized through the theme settings and the included plugins to showcase medical products, healthcare categories, featured collections, services, manufacturers, blog content, and promotional campaigns.

You can manage homepage content by configuring banners, sliders, featured categories, product collections, blog sections, manufacturers, and promotional areas using the supported Nop-Templates plugins included with the theme.

Follow these steps in order to configure your home page like the Velmora Theme Demo.

MAIN HOME PAGE SLIDER

You can create a main homepage slider using the Anywhere Sliders plugin. This slider can be used to highlight medical equipment, healthcare services, pharmacy products, wellness collections, seasonal promotions, or important healthcare campaigns.

Admin Configuration: Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Plugins -> Anywhere Sliders -> Manage Sliders

Widget Zone: home_page_main_slider

Front-end Result: This displays the main healthcare banner slider at the top of the Velmora homepage.

MEGA MENU CONFIGURATION

The Nop Mega Menu plugin, that is shipped with the Velmora Theme, provides you with the ability to create your own templates for the menu navigation of your healthcare store.

Admin Configuration: Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Plugins -> Mega Menu -> Manage Menus

Front-end Result: This displays the main navigation menu with healthcare categories and subcategories such as Medical Equipment, Diagnostics, Pharmacy & Care, Patient Room, PPE Gear, Surgical, Services, and other medical categories.

After creating your Mega Menu you will need to configure your Menu Template. The Nop Mega Menu is a very powerful and simple to use tool. You can arrange, nest and edit Menu Items. You can find more information on how to configure your Mega Menu in our Documentation.

MEDICAL CATEGORIES JCAROUSEL

Moving on to the Categories JCarousel section of your Home Page. This is a nice way to show your important healthcare categories on your Home Page. Using the JCarousel plugin you can show your desired medical categories such as Diagnostics, Mobility, Patient Room, Respiratory Equipment, Pharmacy & Care, Professional Tools, PPE Gear, Surgical, Sterilization, and Services.

Admin Configuration: Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Plugins -> JCarousel -> Manage JCarousel

Content Configuration: Choose the categories you want to display from the Add Additional Categories tab.

Widget Zone: home_page_before_categories

Front-end Result: This displays selected medical and healthcare categories in a carousel on the Velmora homepage.

SMART PRODUCT COLLECTIONS

Moving on to the Smart Product Collections plugin. Using this plugin you can show your best healthcare products on your home page and group them accordingly in categories. There are two types of Smart Product Collections: Category Product Collections and Custom Product Collections.

You can use the category product collections to display different products from a certain healthcare category and order them in tabs depending on many criteria, such as Most Wanted, Best Sellers, New Arrivals, Featured Medical Products, and other custom criteria.

Admin Configuration: Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Plugins -> Smart Product Collections -> Category Product Collections

Front-end Result: This displays healthcare products in organized tabbed sections on the homepage.

HEALTHCARE MANUFACTURERS JCAROUSEL

The element just below the Category Product Collections is the Manufacturers JCarousel. It is achieved by configuring the JCarousel plugin. This section can be used to display medical brands, healthcare suppliers, equipment manufacturers, pharmacy brands, or wellness manufacturers.

Admin Configuration: Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Plugins -> JCarousel -> Manage JCarousel

Content Configuration: Choose the manufacturers or brands you want to display in the carousel.

Widget Zone: home_page_before_products

Front-end Result: This displays selected medical brands and healthcare manufacturers in a carousel on the homepage.

HOME PAGE PROMOTIONAL BANNER

The next element on the Home Page is the promotional banner. It can be used for healthcare campaigns, medical equipment offers, service promotions, featured categories, pharmacy deals, or seasonal wellness messages.

Admin Configuration: Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Plugins -> Anywhere Sliders -> Manage Sliders

Recommended Slider Type: Nivo Slider

Widget Zone: velmora_banners_2_widget_zone

Front-end Result: This displays a promotional healthcare banner on the Velmora homepage.

CUSTOM PRODUCT COLLECTIONS

You can use the custom product collections to display products on the home page and order them in tabs depending on many criteria, such as Most Wanted, Best Sellers, New Arrivals, Featured Healthcare Products, Custom Criteria, and other store-specific groups.

Admin Configuration: Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Plugins -> Smart Product Collections -> Custom Product Collections

Content Configuration: Create custom product groups, build tabs, select products, and order them according to your store requirements.

Front-end Result: This displays custom healthcare product collections in organized grid on the Velmora homepage.

NEWSLETTER BANNER

We can finish the configuration of the home page by configuring the newsletter banner. This section can be used to promote healthcare services, medical assistance, delivery information, pharmacy support, clinic offers, or other store messages.

Admin Configuration: Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Theme -> Settings -> Newsletter Background

Front-end Result: This displays the newsletter banner background on the Velmora homepage.

CONFIGURE YOUR CATEGORY PAGE

The category page can be set to have three or four products per row by changing the Category Page product items per row setting in Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Themes -> Velmora -> Settings.

Admin Configuration: Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Themes -> Velmora -> Settings

Front-end Result: This controls how many products are shown per row on category pages in desktop resolutions.

Enabling the Nop Ajax Filters adds additional functionality to your category page.

CONFIGURE YOUR PRODUCT PAGE

As it comes to the product page there are some plugins that you need to enable and configure. Make sure that the Nop Cloud Zoom and Nop Quick Tabs plugins are enabled and configured.

Admin Configuration: Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Plugins -> Cloud Zoom

Admin Configuration: Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Plugins -> Quick Tabs

Front-end Result: Cloud Zoom improves product image preview, while Quick Tabs displays product information in tabbed sections on the product details page.

The Related Products and Products Also Purchased number should be set to 6.

ADDITIONAL CONFIGURATION

1. Item Box Type

   There are two types of Item Boxes in the Velmora theme - Standard and On Hover.

   Admin Configuration: Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Themes -> Velmora -> Settings

   Front-end Result: This changes how product item boxes behave on listing sections. Standard displays product actions normally, while On Hover displays selected product actions when the customer hovers over the product box.

2. Newsletter Background Pattern

   You can choose between different newsletter background patterns that can be used to match the healthcare and medical design style of the Velmora theme.

   Admin Configuration: Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Themes -> Velmora -> Settings

   Front-end Result: This changes the background style of the newsletter section on the homepage.

3. Follow us - contact information

   The footer of the Velmora Theme contains your custom contacts - address and phone. These are resources that can be changed from the plugin of the theme through Administration -> Nop-Templates -> Themes -> Velmora -> Manage Resources. The keys of the resources are as follows:

   - sevenspikes.themes.velmora.footer.address;
   - sevenspikes.themes.velmora.footer.phone;

   Front-end Result: This displays the store address and phone information in the footer contact area.

TIPS AND TRICKS

1. Have high-quality product images so that the zoom on the product page works better.
2. Use vectorized category images with a white outline and transparent background for a clean and consistent design.
3. Have a play with all the plugins and read their documentation to see how you can use them properly and make the best of them.
