Can’t Be Just Me: Struggling to Mirror iPhone to Smart TV Without Lag?

Okay, am I doing something wrong or is screen mirroring just always this laggy? I’ve been trying to mirror my iPhone to my smart TV (LG, pretty recent model) to show some workout videos while I move around, but there’s always like a 1–2 second delay. Audio’s fine, but the visuals are choppy and just out of sync. I’ve checked my Wi-Fi, restarted everything, even moved the router closer — nada. Anyone else had this? Or did you find a way around it?
