Hi,

I have a temporary site up at http://remote.expertcomputing.co.uk:9090/

I want to know if it's possible to change the order of the dropdown boxes in the ajax filter 2.3?

If you go http://remote.expertcomputing.co.uk:9090/c/17/epson

There are two filters, how can i put Printer Series before Printer Model?

I've tried changing the specification attribute orders, but that doesn't help.

Hi,

This seems to be a limitation of the current implementation. We will enhance the filters to support sorting of the drop downs by the DisplayOrder of the specification attributes and will let you know when you can download the new version.

Hope this works for you!

I would also like this. When I use the filtering of the specifications that comes with NopCommerce is show the Primary and then Secondary. When I use this plugin it show Secondary then Primary. I believe is show the filter with the less options fist and the most last. It would be better to be able to have it show up just like it is listed in the specifications.

I really like the look of this plugin. great work.

Hi,

Thanks for giving us feedback again!

Yes the filters should show the specifications groups in the order of their DisplayOrder property.

This is something we have in mind for the next release for nopCommerce 2.4.

Will keep you posted.

Did you manage to get this change into version 2.4?  I have not tried it yet myself.

Hi,

I just tried changing the product specification order, but it does not alter the order which the dropdown boxes are shown.

I have downloaded the latest version 2.4.

Any ideas?

Please make sure that you have replaced the SevenSpikes.Core plugin with the latest version. Otherwise the change will not take effect.

Hi,

Thanks for specifying the date of the core!
I believe you do not have the latest version. You need a version, which is built after the 14.02.2012. Would you be able to download it again from your My Account section and let us know if you still have the problem or not? Also, just in case, please restart your web application after you replace your installation of the filters. Best way to do this is to modify the Global.asax file.

Thanks again and looking forward to your reply!
