Slow performance when filtering&paging products in the catalog

Hello,

We're using Uptown (3.8.922.22906) on NopCommerce 3.80. We recently deployed it to staging on a dedicated Azure VM with 2 cores and 7GB RAM. The test load is effectively zero requests per second, we just have our testers going through the site. There are ~15 000 products.

The problem is that overall performance is fast (<1 second response times). But two features are lagging:

* Catalog filtering (2.5-3 seconds to apply/disable a filter)
* Paging - as slow as filtering.

We're using the bundled  Nop Ajax Filters plugin and SQL Server Full-text search.

What are your suggestions for improving performance in these scenarios?

Hello,

You can disable some of the filters if you are not using them from the Availability Settings panel. This should improve the performance.

If you can provide us your database we can try to find what is slowing down the filtration.

Thanks a lot for a quick answer. We've selected just the necessary filters already. I'll see if we can prepare a database backup for you to have a look.

Cheers,
Andrey
